Teddy the red-nosed senator
Had a very shiny car,
And if you ever saw it,
It was probably parked at a bar.

All of the other senators
Couldn't see how he got his dames,
They thought he drank way too much
To be good at bedroom games.

Then one foggy summer eve,
The sheriff came to say,
"Teddy with your nose so red,
That lady in your car is dead."

Then all the other senators
Laughted and shouted out with glee,
"Teddy, the red-nosed senator,
You're a drunken S.O.B.!"
