Don't worry about what has caused the injury.

Remember that you are training your eyes to tell the lobulated, mostly-heterochromatin nuclei of neutrophils from the fragmented, entirely-heterochromatin nuclei of dead cells ("nuclear dust").

This is a site of infection with in a hollow organ.

With your study partners, find:

• live neutrophils


• area of cell death (look for the nuclear dust)
