Microinvasive squamous cell cervical cancer..
See if you can see the few tiny tongues of cancer coming down into the cervical stroma. They do not look quite so anaplastic as the overlying carcinoma in situ? The cells which invade the most successfully are not necessarily the ones that reproduce fastest.
