You are white. Kings are placed at random on one of the two first rows. Take turns placing pieces on an empty board. You do not see your opponent's placement. Your men go on your first four ranks. Pawns may not start on the first rank. Bishops must be on opposite colors.

After placement, first mover is determined randomly. If you are in check when the screen goes up, and the enemy has the first move, you lose.

Invented by a Dr. Korwin-Dzbanski in 1908.
