This is a limited doublemove variant which I invented. Except for White's first move, the first move of the turn must be followed, if possible, by a different unit moving in the same direction and for the same distance. The type of unit, and whether or not it is a capture, does not matter. Check, mate, and stalemate are delivered only at the end of a turn. If two pawns advance two squares in a turn, either or both are subject to capture en passant.
