Jean-Louis Cazaux based this three-player game on the hexagonal chess variants of Dave McCooey and Stephen P Kennedy. For now, pawns promote only to queens. A move by one player may cause a discovered attack on the previous player's king by the next player's runner. I forbade capturing the previous player's king in this situation.
These are simple illustrations rather than strong opponents.
