Incised wound
This was a homicidal knife wound to the throat. You can see the larynx (Adam's apple) exposed secondary to the incision. The vocal chords have also been severed and now appear to be "V" shaped. Unconsciousness would have followed this injury almost instantaneously due to the severing of the carotid arteries. Note that there is little bruising along the incision. Also, a stab wound can be seen on the right upper chest of the victim.
