Sclerosing Adenosis

Be careful not to confuse this with cancer. This is proliferation of the glands *note that features of anaplasia are absent. Yes, it looks frisky, however it is not cancer. This is a low power view. At first glance one may notice, lots of blue (which is the nucleic acids within the nuclei). Remember that -osis means full of and adeno means gland. This is benign at the moment, Sclerosing Adenosis is a sign of caution (premalignancy). However, at this stage it is not malignant. Careful not to confuse this with cancer. Treatments are radically different depending on the diagnosis.
